Welcome to my NYIT course home page. I teach literature surveys and seminars on such topics as Romanticism, Gothic literature, Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Folk and Fairy Tales.  I also teach Composition, Literary Research, Research Writing, and Technical Writing.  If you have more questions about my courses, please e-mail me at dhogsett@nyit.edu or call me at (516) 686-7769.  I welcome inquiries from prospective students and discussions with other teachers of English Literature and Composition.
