Emerging on the fertile banks of the Nile River over five thousand years ago, ancient Egypt was a place of mummies and pharaohs, pyramids and temples. A place that sparks the imagination. Professor Charles Matz had the inspiration for this summer studio. From Cario to the Western Desert, Aswan to Luxor the studio ended up in a Hassan Fathy villa on the bank of the Nile.
