Urban Disobedience: The Work of Santiago Cirugeda
March 26-May 5
Curated by Nader Vossoughian and Cristina Goberna
It was a pleasure to be able to present the work of Santiago Cirugeda this past semester. Cirugeda, a Seville-based architect, is someone who is passionate about public space. He employs construction methods that just about anyone can learn. He uses inexpensive materials. He invites you to participate. He is a realist and idealist simultaneously.
Cirugeda will be lecturing at NYIT during the fall 2007 semester. A catalog documenting his work will be launched at this event as well.
