The 2008 Program was one of the most dynamic yet. By building upon past experience, as well as exploiting new relationships and synergies that have been developed in the interim, the Program offered extraordinary learning opportunities for students. 2008 was a rare opportunity in terms of contemporary architecture; For the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, several of the most significant projects - including the Olympic Stadium, the Swimming Pavilion and the CCTV tower - were fully operational.
