ART HISTORY POWERPOINT RESOURCE

Welcome to the Art History PowerPoint Resource. To use the files in this collection, you will need either MS Powerpoint, Apple Keynote or a similar application that recognizes and uses files with the .ppt (PowerPoint) extension. These files look best with Rockwell and Futura typefaces.

POWERPOINT SHOWS
From the PowerPoint Shows page, one can download forty entire PowerPoint shows based on different art historical topics and periods. Many of these shows have been created to complement and expand upon material covered in Helen Gardner's Art Through the Ages (11th and 12th editions) and H.H. Arnason's History of Modern Art (5th edition).

SPECIFIC
POWERPOINT SLIDES

From the PowerPoint Slides matrix, one can use the browser's search tool (typically called up by typing command+F) to locate PowerPoint files dealing with specific artists or works within a collection covering nearly 1800 works of art, architecture and design. Each .ppt file may be downloaded to your computer by clicking the corresponding number at the far left. Cutting and pasting individual slides will allow one to assemble a custom show.

Please note that in order to facilitate use across platforms no special characters are used, e.g. "Durer" is spelled without umlauts and "Cezanne" and "Copan" without accents.
