NYIT Falls To Southampton College 89-74

Winning Streak Snapped At Three Games

Southampton, NY: The New York Institute of Technology Lady Bears (7-8, 6-6 NYCAC) fell to the Southampton College Lady Colonials (7-4, 6-2 NYCAC) 89-74. Junior Georgia Gordon (St. Ann, Jamaica) recorded her 12^th double-double of the year, scoring a team high 25 points and grabbing a game high 21 rebounds.

The Lady Bears found themselves down by nine, 46-37, at the half and could never recover. Christina Papadapoulou (Nicosia, Cypress) and Tamika Cox (Long Island City, NY) scored 16 and 13 points respectively in the loss.
