Program Description

Hospitality Management is one of the fastest growing career fields with exciting opportunities in hotel management, restaurant management, event planning, food service, travel and tourism, and gaming . The Bachelor of Professional Studies program in Hospitality Management develops essential knowledge and skills to enable graduates to accelerate their careers, whether they are preparing to enter or to significantly advance in the industry. In addition to a well-rounded liberal arts foundation, the program encompasses the key areas of business planning, sales & marketing, financial management, hospitality law, labor-management relations, property management, food and beverage management, restaurant and hotel design, convention and meeting planning, and human resource administration. Externships (paid or unpaid) provide entry into and resume-building practical experience in graduates' chosen areas of concentration.
