Golden Key International Honour Society
Golden Key International Honour Society, founded in 1977, recognizes college students for their academic achievements and has emerged as one of the most dynamic, forward-thinking organizations in higher education. The Society has established chapters on 335 campuses in seven countries, including Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States.
As its mission, Golden Key strives to build global communities of academic achievers by providing opportunities for individual growth through leadership, career development, networking and service.
New York Institute of Technology inducted its first members into Golden Key in the fall of 2004. Induction is an outward recognition of personal accomplishment and serves as an incentive for continued high scholarship as well as access to opportunities for leadership, networking and service. Membership in Golden Key identifies its members to employers and graduate schools as persons of superior academic ability and performance.
