About NYIT Honors Program and Societies

The honors program fosters intellectual, social and cultural growth for students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, ability and motivation. The program is offered to undergraduate students, both new and continuing, from all majors. Honors program students come from diverse backgrounds, have different career interests and attend classes on both the Manhattan and Old Westbury campuses. Most important, all honors program students share a desire to enhance the traditional college curriculum with stimulating activities designed specially for them.
