Strategy Games and Warhammer 40,000 (limited enrollment)
Strategy games offer campers a unique, fun opportunity to develop problem solving skills and cognitive abilities such as planning, organization and abstract thinking. Campers plan, design, organize and implement complex table top games with a variety of themes. Many games have historical themes, and campers can re-create history or change it on the table top. Boundaries are only set by their imaginations. In addition, classics such as Risk, Axis and Allies are also offered.

Warhammer 40,000 is an immensely popular fantasy tabletop game produced by Games Workshop. Started in England during the eighties, the game has grown to include numerous different versions, novels, comic books and video games. Players choose from a staggering array of armies ranging from Arthurian-type knights to futuristic Space Marines. The game pieces are finely detailed plastic or pewter 28mm scale figures, and the game includes a wide variety of supports that help develop the artistic and hobby skills of players. Games range from small, hour-long affairs to complete multi-player campaigns that can last weeks. Players can carve out their own empires and defend them from hordes of evil, marauding monsters.
