The collection is  over 25,000 books on art, architecture and interior design. This number also includes bound periodical volumes. There are also collections of slides, videos, CD-ROMs, maps, special collections and construction drawings. The Sanborn maps of Manhattan and Nassau county are available.

     The Education Hall Library subscribes to over 220 periodicals. Access to periodical articles is available through various indexes: Avery Index; Art Index; Architecture Periodical Index; Architecture Index; Design and Applied Art Index; Construction Index and Search.
