Turnitin
Turnitin is a web-based application to help prevent plagiarism. Turnitin cross references an electronic copy of an essay submission with Turnitin's in-house database of manuscripts. It also compares the document to other Web sources that are not in the database. This service is free to all NYIT faculty members.

For more information, including how to set up a faculty account, please contact Michael Uttendorfer and the NYIT Center for Teaching and Learning with Technology.
