Sage Sayings of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still

"The first step in Osteopathy is a belief in our own body."

"We must start our exploring boat with the blood of the aorta and float with this vital current, and watch the unloading of supplies, for the diaphragm and all that is under it.

"Never mind what the book says, God gave you a brain."

Truhlar Robert E. Doctor A.T. Still in the living. Chagrin Falls, Ohio, 1950. P. 20, 21.

National Library of Medicine Introduces MedlinePlus Connect

National Library of Medicine (NLM) introduced MedlinePlus Connect, a free service that allows any electronic health record (EHR) system to link to relevant, authoritative, and up-to-date health information from MedlinePlus. By incorporating MedlinePlus content into EHR systems, MedlinePlus Connect delivers information about conditions and disorders, health and wellness, and prescription and over-the-counter medications to patients, families, and health care providers when it is needed. MedlinePlus Connect works by accepting specific requests from EHR systems and providing links to relevant MedlinePlus information in response. To learn how it works click here.

Did You Know..

DynaMed now links the references to full text if the library has a subscription to that journal.

This works by first taking the user to the PubMed citation and the user would then click on the link, if the library had it available full text.
