The National Library of Medicine has recently launched Asian American Health http://asianamericanhealth.nlm.nih.gov , an information portal, that address issues affecting the health and well-being of the over 11 million Asian Americans in the United States, including Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino, Hmong, Japanese, Korean, Asian Indian and Pakistani, and Vietnamese populations. This Web resource, is designed to increase public awareness of the health concerns of these important minority groups, who are major contributors to our society's economy, innovation, and vibrancy. Links are provided to an assortment of documents, web sites, databases, and other resources. PubMed Updates A new link called "Special Queries" was added to PubMed's blue sidebar (under PubMed Services) on April 29, 2005. Like the Clinical Queries link that takes you to a page providing
specialized PubMed searches for clinicians, the Special Queries link
provides access to a directory of topic-specific PubMed queries.
