Accessing DynaMed by your PDA DynaMed is a clinical reference tool created by physicians for physicians and other health care professionals for use primarily at the 'point-of-care' available through the medical library website. Questions have been asked on how to access DynaMed by PDA devices. Please email dynamedsupport@epnet.com using NYIT/NYCOM MyMail address, requesting a serial number for your PDA device. Please do not use any personal email accounts such as @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com or @gmail.com when making a request for a serial number, for authentication reasons DynaMed cannot validate that you are affiliated with your institution when using these email addresses. |

FREE TRIAL Lexi-Comp is a database available on the NYCOM Library webpage as a free trial until November 30th. There is no username and password needed. Lexi-Comp offers access to the most comprehensive package of drug information resources. It offers clear, concise and accurate point-of-care information and includes AHFS integrated content for more in-depth information, including direct access to references and the primary literatures. EXAM MASTER ONLINE UPDATES We are pleased to notify you that EXAM MASTER recently published over 300 new medical science questions. These questions cover a number of product outlines including USMLE and the Certification Review Series. Please be advised there are user tutorials available on EXAM MASTER website. Please keep in mind that the library website is the only key to access all resources and databases available in-campus or off-campus including EXAM MASTER. |

New Photocopiers Good news! The library should be getting new photocopiers in November. In order to use these machines, you will need to encode money on your ID card using Blackboard. More information will be available about this when the machines are installed. We will keep you posted. Study areas Because the study rooms in NYCOM II will be closed temporarily due to renovations, please keep in mind that the NYCOM Library has many study carrels available on three different floors. |
