Tips to keep the books on the shelves!

In recent months, many new books have disappeared off the shelves never to be seen again. Please be considerate of others and follow these tips:

  • Do not re-shelve books. Please put the books on a book truck near the circulation desk.
  • Please do not hide books in hidden locations that only you can find!
  • Please do not walk out with books without checking out.
If you did lose a book, please pay for it or replace it with another copy of the same edition.
  • Please do not tear pages out of the books or write in them, these books are the library properties.

With these tips in mind, we hope to maintain the NYCOM Library collection for many years to come and be able to serve the needs of all of our students, faculty and staff.
