| Family Medicine Work-Study position - OW Campus |

Work Study Student will be responsible for the following and all other duties assigned: |

Wednesday:
Charge all laptop computers
Prepare DPR folders with sign-in sheets - add competent and not competent sheets to DPRII folders
Set up the OMM Lab and Multipurpose Rooms late afternoon
Post Dr. Names and Group Numbers accordingly
Post numbers in Auditoriums
Mollie DPR II
William DPR I
Post small group assignments on outside door of
Auditoriums (Mollie DPR II & William DPR I)
OMM Lab
Multipurpose Room
OMM Lab layout
Thursday:
Take cart with Laptops and power plugs to Conf. Room B by 7:45
Return cart back to Dr. Bono’s Office by 8:30
Distribute pencils and Scantrons to students
Collect pencils at the end of DPR quizzes
Collect numbers and doctor name signs from OMM Lab and Multipurpose rooms by 12:30
Clean up the rooms
Remove sign-in sheets from folders and put in binders
The work-study student will report to the Department Chair and Administrative Assistant.

General Description of the Work Area
The Model Studio encompasses both digital and analog cutting machines. At peak times we may process hundreds of projects each week. The wood shop portion of the studio maintains four band saws, a table saw, drill press, crosscut saw, belt and disc sander, and other power and hand tools. The laser portion of the studio currently maintains two, with a third forthcoming, laser cutting machines controlled by adjacent PCs.
This position requires the student to maintain a regular work schedule. Training will be received in all necessary areas.
The student technician will be responsible for: |

Opening and closing the Model Studio and logging in students in the log book. | |
| |
|
Ensuring that all machinery is in proper working order and that these machines are being operated safely. | |
| |
|
Training any student that is untrained in the proper operation of any machine. | |
| |
|
Running the table saw as no student is permitted to operate it. | |
| |
|
Ensuring that the dust collection system is on and that the machines are cleared of any sawdust or debris. | |
| |
|
Cleaning the machines and workspaces at the beginning and end of their shift. | |
| |
|
Assisting the Director of the Model Studio with studio tasks. | |
| |
|
Periodically monitoring the laser cutting machines in the Laser Lab. | |
|
| Students in Architecture Design 2 as a Prerequisite to this position. |
|
