Dr. Diamando Afxentiou: Ph.D. in Economics, West Virginia University with specialization in Labor Economics and Econometrics. M.A., New School for Social Research; B.S., City University of New York.
Dr. Afxentiou is an associate professor of Economics, teaching economics, money and banking, and statistics. She also serves as the undergraduate director for the School of Management at the Manhattan campus. Her main research interest is public policy issues. She has published in the area of teenage pregnancy and welfare duration.
