Behavior Expectations & Classroom Rules

These are my basic expectations for our classroom.

* Be There, Be Ready: Come to class on time, prepared and ready to learn.

* Follow Directions: When given directions, listen without hesitation (without waiting or wasting time).

* Be Respectful: Have an open mind to what others have to say.  Wait your turn to speak, or share an idea.

* Be Responsible: Make positive choices for yourself, keep yourself organized, and be aware that your choices may have consequences.

* If a student is chewing gum in class, they will be sent to T1 for the period. 

* Students are permitted to bring bottled water to class, all other drinks must be kept in the student's locker for lunch.

Grade Guidelines:

Tests - 50%

Quizzes - 20%

Homework - 10%

Classwork - 20%

Homework & Classwork Guidelines:

* Students are expected to hand in their homework the following school day, unless other directions are given. 

* If you forget your homework, or it is not complete on the day it is due, you may hand it in the following day for 75% credit. 

* Homework not turned in by the second day for 75% credit will count as a zero.

Quizzes - 25%

Classwork & Homework - 10%

Participation - 15%

Homework  & Classwork Guidelines:

* Students are expected to hand in their assignments on the date given.  Due dates will be on the chalkboard in class, and on the Science page of this website. 

* If you forget your assignment, or it is not complete you may hand it in the following day for 75% credit. 

* Assignments not turned in by the second day for 75% credit will count as a zero.
