Dr. Kavanagh has taught Pathology to all
of the alumni of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She began
teaching in 1977 when the College admitted its first class, and continues
to enjoy the students, the teaching, and her beloved discipline of Pathology.
A special friend and advisor to the students, she has been rewarded
with many "Excellence in Teaching" awards. She is an invaluable
resource to the NYCOM community, and lives the model of "Where
would doctors be without teachers?"
