Central Islip

Students who are enrolled in NYIT’s culinary program are encouraged to live on campus in the cottages in Central Islip. Residents will be a short walk from everything they need in order to become successful culinary students. The residence halls in Central Islip are staffed with community assistants. Community assistants are paraprofessional staff members who are trained to assist and support the residents in their growth and development as well as build a cohesive community on campus.
