Objectives: The purpose of this laboratory is to give seniors an introduction to experimental methods, measurement techniques, design and assembly procedures for:
a) Communication circuits and subsystems and
b) Microwave circuits and transmission lines.

Experiments:

1. Fourier Analysis. (6 hours)

2. Oscillators; low frequency and high frequency. (6 hours)

3. Experiment on FM Generation. (3 hours)

4. Experiment on Class C amplifier. (6 hours)

5. Experiments on Amplitude modulation and demodulation. (6 hours)

6. Experiment on frequency demodulation. (3 hours)

7. Microwave measurement of frequency. (3 hours)

8. Measurement of VSWR, Reflection, and Attenuation. (3 hours)

9. Measurement of Impedance at microwave frequencies. (3 hours)

10. Measurement of free-space waves and antenna characteristics. (3 hours)
