  • Optical Networks: Design and evaluation of architectures and protocols for optical packet and burst switched networks; contention resolution and quality of service (QoS) provisioning for photonic packet switched networks; analytical performance evaluation methods
  • Wireless Networks: Protocol design and performance evaluation in mobile and ad hoc networks and sensor networks
  • Grid Computing: Design and analysis routing framework for supporting emerging high-performance grid computing in all-optical networks
